According to Ephesians 4:11-12, God gave evangelists to the church as one of the five-fold ministry gifts for a three-fold purpose…

1) For the perfecting of the saints,

2) For the work of the ministry,

3) And for the edifying of the body of Christ:

We have endeavored to fulfill that calling by serving His Church for over three decades, working side by side with great men and women of God who desire to see His Kingdom established in the hearts and lives of all mankind. As an evangelist, I feel that we can bring things to the Body through our unique ministry gifting that God, in His wisdom, has given to the office of the evangelist.

In an attempt to put into action our 3-fold purpose, we try to focus our personal ministry on two primary areas: Reaching The Lost and Revival In The Church.

REACHING THE LOST

Nothing thrills the heart of a believer more than seeing others come into the Kingdom of God! We have always used many various ways to share the Good News with those who will listen, and gratefully, we have seen many thousands come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through the message of the cross! We preach a strong message of salvation by grace through faith, with the necessity of repentance and a public confession of Christ. We believe in giving “altar calls” and other forms of making an open and public stand for Jesus Christ. We do not use manipulation techniques, nor beg people to follow Christ.  We emphasize man’s guilt before God and point him to his only hope in a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

We, like the apostle Paul, have tired to “become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.” (1 Corinthians 9:22) With that attitude, we try to take whatever is grabbing the attention of people and turn it into an opportunity to share the Gospel. Often times, I will use popular media, current events, trends, fads, or any other thing that is on the minds of people and incorporate it into my messages to help secure the attention of the lost and help set a stage to point people to the real answer in Jesus Christ. We do this with various forms of multimedia presentations, which helps keep the attention of the viewers.

REVIVAL IN THE CHURCH

Our second primary area of emphasis in our ministry is reaching those who are already believers by encouraging them to go on into a deeper walk with the Lord. I have always enjoyed preaching and teaching on the important topic of Personal Revival and Holiness. This has been an ongoing focus of our ministry from the beginning. We desire to see the Church as a powerful Spirit-filled force in this world. Our hearts break when we see the apathy; complacency, sin and backsliding that have become the norm for our day.  We come with a hard-hitting, straight to the heart message of repentance and returning to our ‘first love’ for Jesus and His Word! We are not afraid to deal with the various forms of compromise in the Church world. We strongly believe in the need for an old-fashion revival among God’s people and believe it is the only thing that can save this great nation of ours.

We make no demands or have any financial requirements. We are a faith-based ministry and go wherever the Lord opens the door for us. We come by faith, making no demands, but simply ask for a ‘love offering’ to be taken for us. Since we live “on the road” all the time, we do request that the hosting church will have private accommodations for our family, as we try to maintain a home “on the road”.
